Are you ready to learn and maybe even have some fun too?

If you are reading this announcement, that should mean that you are enrolled in PSY 1000. If you thought this was Philosophy 101, sorry about that (but you can stay if you wish). Anyway, we (we being myself and our two wonderful teaching assistants--Cynthia and Troy) want to welcome you to our class. My hope is that your answer to the above question is YES! This particular class and semester is exciting in that we are meeting fully in-person (Centennial Room 203). While this is a large class, we will do our best to offer a fantastic learning experience about a subject we can all relate to: psychology. Why do I believe that? Because as we will see the basic definition of psychology is simply, the study of human behavior. And since we are all human and all express behaviors, psychology is fundamental to who we are and to the world around us. We will provide many resources to help make this class a success both academically and hopefully personally too. Are you ready (if not excited) to start this journey of the human psyche together?
