How do I connect my devices to the Internet?

Instructions for connecting most devices to our WiFi can be found by visiting UCCS Wireless Service. Please keep in mind devices such as TVs, streaming boxes (Roku Apple TV etc.), and game consoles do not support our wireless security and must be connected using an ethernet cable.

Does UCCS offer Microsoft Office® for free?

Yes! All active students can download a free copy of the Microsoft Office® Suite for their personal computers by using their UCCS account at the website portal.office.com. Links to an external site. The Office Suite includes the latest version of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Outlook for Mac and PCs. Publisher and Access are also included for PC. If you unenroll from UCCS without finishing a degree and joining the alumni association, your account will be deleted and your data and email erased. If you obtain your degree from UCCS and become an alumni, you will be able to retain your email address and access it through the web version, but will lose access to Office installations as well as OneDrive storage. 

My computer doesn’t have enough space for all of my school work! What can I do?

As part of your Office subscription, we offer every student 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage to use while you attend the university: UCCS OneDrive 

If you unenroll from UCCS without finishing a degree and joining the alumni association, your account will be deleted and your data and email erased. If you obtain your degree from UCCS and become an alumni, you will be able to retain your email address and access it through the web version, but will lose access to Office installations as well as OneDrive storage. 

Where can I find the OIT Service Desk?

We are located on the first floor of the El Pomar Center, under the library. If you look for the clock tower, the door to the OIT Service Desk is right at the base.
