Instructions
Exam 1 will go "live" online at Canvas at 1 p.m on Monday, October 4. The exam will stay open until the end of Wednesday, October 6 (11:59 p.m.). Here are the logistics for Exam 1:
--There are 50 questions covering Chapters 1-6. The questions are multiple choice.
--You will have 60 minutes to take the Exam. Those students with official UCCS accommodations will have adjustments made to their exam.
--You may only take the Exam one time in one "sitting." What does that mean? It means that once you start the exam online, you have to complete it in one continuous time span. You cannot work on the exam for 20 minutes, leave for a few minutes, then resume the exam. It must be completed in one continuous time frame.
-Since this is a totally online exam, you are responsible for securing reliable internet. You may take the exam at UCCS (such as in the Library) if you are concerned about your home internet. You may also use the library's computers to take the exam. You are also allowed to take your exam on your phone if you have computer issues.
--You may use your notes, exam study guide, class slides, or online textbook for the exam.
--You are asked to pledge that you work on, complete, and submit only your personal exam (and not assist or help other students with their exam).
